This video shows how only two Galileo are required to control each hifi wifi Bluetooth smartphone GPS i2c smt RGB LED PWM touch sensitive ambient lighting column.
I better get on board quickly since incandescent bulbs are outlawed starting Jan 1. I had it made and didn't know it!
Im more intrested in its ability to run Open CV. So I can run a camera on my bot.
The board also has a pci-e slot on the bottom. So i ordered the 6235AN.HMWWB Centrino WiFi Card Advanced-N 6235 Dual Band Bluetooth, antenas and card adaptor.
Im looking at the Parallax Propeller shields but they seem to be backordered? Im not sure if the Prop Shield has the same pin layout.(physical pin layout as the newer boards seem to have a different layout)

So I got somemore thinking to do.
I will get some Arduino shield header pins and solder them to the propeller shield so it can plug into the
Galileo board once I figure out what pins to transfer over.
Any ideas.?
The Galileo board currently runs a modified version of the Arduino IDE to run sketches
Additionally it can run and boot Linux from the SD card.
While the Galileo has no video out if need the propeller can do that.
My goal is to run open cv on the Galileo.
They do seem to make a nice package together.
