Am I a geek, a nerd or a dork ?

I was typing an email when my space bar stopped working (piece of food caught under it).
Without missing a beat, I started using ALT-3-2 for a space.

Now I can't help but wonder does that make me a geek, a nerd or a dork ?

    Geek for sure!!!!

I'm always using the old DOS/WordStar keyboard commands. Ya they still work, well many of them anyway.

Geek. Nerd isn't necessarily computer technical (you can be for example a music nerd). And dork is, as Gary Larson was once infamously reminded, slang for an intimate bit of male anatomy.

ALT-2-5-5 .... also <tongue in cheek> for an 'encrypted space'.

I'm going with dork because it was a piece of food stuck under your keyboard... Eating at the keyboard is bad practice, but hey I'm guilty too..

    no, wait..

I'm going with nerd because you reported it to these forums...

    no, wait..

I'm going with geek because only a geek would have jumped to ALT-3 2.

    no, wait.. I've got this...

I nomitate you to hold the honorary position of ALL THREE TITLES. :):)

You are OK in my book as long as you didn't tweet about the incident or put anything on Facebook!
