I have around 50GB of video and raw pics to edit to make a Flying Christmas video and still two real airplane flights to go. 5 cameras at 1080@30fps... man that is a ton of data for two hours... We usually fly on the beach and attract a decent crowd. I have never recorded interaction with people but I've always been wanting to. This time there were a lot of cameras so there wasn't much that didn't get recorded.
Anyway I just thought I'd share some of the reactions because I've always wanted to. This is why I put LEDs on foam airplanes and fly them. These people were a lot of fun.

Thanks for sharing.
I should also mention multicopters (even with less LEDs) get a lot more attention than the planes. Kids just want to pile on top of the rotors when you come anywhere near the ground. One fine day on the beach some kid tripped because he was looking up at the copter and running. Didn't get hurt but that was it for me. The planes are a nice balance, nobody tries to run after them and they're quieter.
Be sure to switch to 1080 -

FWIW...the D word is often copped by those who have their own not so hidden agenda.
It is just technology...how it is used determines it whether it is good or evil.
