Looks like Ken pulled the trigger on the Hitec Gimbal Joystick he posted in another thread.

    I used to gut old 75 MHz AM A/C radios for there sticks .. and 24 bucks is really good price !

    I ordered one an hour ago.

    I see I missed this thread earlier. I saw the announcement on Parallax while looking for Black Friday sale info (apparently Cyber Monday is the main sale day).

    I thought if I ordered it early enough today, it would ship today. I didn't want to wait to see if it went on sale Monday.

    I'm looking forward to trying it out.

    Indeed, we have 500 units in stock but only around 50 are kitted up with the little PCB adapter. We don't sell the joystick without this adapter board.

    On Page 5 of the 27808 documentation, I would change:

    Thanks Jen. I wasn't very concerned. I had decided it would be worth a couple extra bucks to get it shipped today.

    When I ordered mine the webpage said there were 50 in stock. There are now 47. I claim the auspicious designation of being the first person to order an Aurora Joystick.
