Hey all,
You're starting to see more posts on our forums from our friends in China from Xian RobotC Limited. A few of them have posted here already and you will see many more in coming days and months. These people mostly work for our distributor and they're really savvy with Parallax products. They started with Legos, S2s and Vex and are now programming Propellers in C and Spin. They're a fantastic group of interesting, professional and fun people.
Our friend and business partner Terry Sy owns and operates Xi'an RobotC Limited. Thankfully, he's got a residence near Parallax and dual citizenship. Having spent equal parts of his life in both USA and China you can imagine he's quite productive with this new business.
Anyhow, I just want to thank everybody here in advance for assisting Xi'an RobotC Limited's team with the questions they are posting here on the forums. Your help is particularly valuable to Parallax and this customer, to be truthful. It's especially productive for them to be able to go to bed with questions left on our forums and see answers the next day! While they speak English very well, sometimes it can be difficult to understand technical documentation. This makes open communication in the forum environment particularly productive for them.
Thank you to our forum members and a very warm welcome RobotC Limited's team!

P.S. Jessica will post an Insider story on her recent trip (she just returned).

Welcome...in my opinion engineering knows no borders.
Welcome to the forum and to the Parallax extended familiy! I'm sure you already know what a great company Parallax is. I think you will find the Parallax forum to be a warm, lively, inclusive place. Please never hesitate to bring your questions, concerns, and accomplishments here to share with the community. We're here both to help when you need it and to cheer your ultimate successes when you don't!
Most sincerely,
Phil Pilgrim (PhiPi)

I second that! Welcome Xi'an RobotC Limited!
Anyway... Hwan ying again (it means Welcome, much warmer than Ni Hao.)
Post many questions! Don't be shy.
That is an awesome New Years phrase.
Welcome everyone.
Looking up Xi'an in wikipedia, I want to visit. One of the oldest cities, the silk road, the terracotta army of emperor Qin Shi Huang, and so on, and now... robots!
Amazing place. Join me in October 2014?
