Looking to add some books to my collection and for Christmas gifts...what are your favorite books on amateur robotics?

Thanks for any recommendations.

Do you have "Robot Builder's Bonanza" by Gordon McComb? How about "Junkbots, Bugbots, and Bots on Wheels"?

    Second the Bonanza. Good stuff!

Most of his other books are also good, but some may be too specialised, and won't fit your 'need'.
(Arduino book may not be of interst to a Hardcore BS2er and so on)

I agree - Gordon McComb's "Robot Builder's Bonanza" is a must-have for anyone getting into robotics.

How about a SERVO magazine subscription?

I, too, vote for Gordon McComb's Robot Builder's Bonanza.

These guys would have been more interesting had they built robots.
