Does anyone know if its possible to give a project the ability to control the music on an iPod/iPhone through the earphones connection? I'm talking about the functions for volume up, volume down, and Stop/Play on the small controller built into the cable.
As you may know it's a standard earphone's connection with four lines, L, R, Mic, Gnd. How are they getting the signals into the device? Sub-audible tones?
