I can get to work on the original Sikorsky S60 prototype, which is the last one Igor might have put his hands on. The are also doing a full restore on an Corsair, (no not Corvair erco).
And yes, the first heavier than air fight was made in Bridgeport, CT ( my birthplace), for all you from North Carolina and Ohio. (Flame On!)

Nonsense. Brazilian Alberto Santo Dumont was an early and amazing pioneer in non-rigid airships (LTA) in Paris, winning the Deutsche prize in 1901. Wrights flew HTA in Dec 1903. Santos Dumont later flew airplanes, circa 1906.
