I can't believe it's been a year to the day when we lost our beloved Browser.

Phil, I hope you have found something to fill the void. Pets are hard to replace.

Edit: And a touching writeup by Jen J.:

I've missed the Browser posts. I also feel like I blinked and a year went by.

I had the pleasure of meeting Browser "in cat" - he had a pretty solid, deep meow and a wonderful life, complete with well-timed rituals of shrimp and cat toy exercise from Phil. Browser raised a good Phil, I mean Phil raised a good Browser. He was a special cat in many ways.

Thanks, guys, for the remembrances! Rereading Jen's touching tribute and the kind notes in the other thread certainly brought a tear to my eye.

It's hard to believe it's been a year already. It took months not to subconciously check the corner where Browser's food bowl used to be to make sure it was filled, or to glance, upon returning home, at the window where he would always be waiting for me. I still miss the little guy, but time and a bounty of good memories have gradually healed the sadness of his passing.

I still have all his "cat stuff" in storage in case another furry feline decides to adopt me, but it's not something I'm seeking out just yet.

If you do get a new furry friend it rally does help. I posted back in August about losing our hound dog Ozzy. The wife and I had decided no more, but as I write this, Chopper, a 9 week old Red Bone, is sitting on my lap watching my every move. I will post about him later. Hope to see you with anther furry friend soon.

    Hello!
    Same here!
It only proves one thing. That video shows that indeed cats are smarter then we are. Incidentally that handsome orange one owns the whole agency and is worth more then the silly human who narrated the video.

    Hello!
    No you were right with
    Browser raised a good Phil
Mostly because the cat living in a household trains the humans to do his work.
