...hmmmmm, the website was last updated 1/17/2009?
Might try giving them a call directly. If business is slow, the website/email may not be monitored too closely.
Dear davejames:
It seems that I could not contact with proteanlogic. Is proteanlogic really exist?
Do you know is there any chip which can replace RSB509B?
Please help me out?

Hi amitof,
I have no experience with the RSB509B or any possible replacements. I was just passing on the info I gleaned from an interweb search.
Have you called Proteanlogic? Not email. Called, with a phone.
try digikey Phone:1-800-344-4539, if you have the datasheet for it, you can give their tech department a good description, and they can source a identical one for you. I've had to do that in the past trying to get obsolete parts, and they have never not found it.
Just spoke with them a few days ago & ordered a dozen 509B chips. They indicated they are extremely busy, but are still producing & supplying the buffers.

Good to hear.
Just wish they would have returned my phone calls and emails.

I have sent proteanlogic an Email, but received no reply, I do not know what's wrong with their website

Yes, I have called Proteanlogic several times, but no answer.
I use RSB509B as a serial buffer IC. The MCU which I have used in the program is BS2sx.
Thank you Publison!
