Alright so lets start by saying I just found out about this site so if I'm doing something wrong sorry!
I have this ( Click the link ) >
http://www.google.com/search?q=Park+zone+for+cars&client=safari&rls=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=Us5-Uv3pM7eu4AOG5IHwAw&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1350&bih=608#q=park-zone+parking+aid&rls=en&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=7S8Xq7eIOUx1QM%3A%3Bow_ZILKzW8-SUM%3Bhttp%3A%2F%2Fblog.priceplunge.com%2Fstorage%2Fpost-images%2F193938.jpg%3F__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION%3D1345658295002%3Bhttp%3A%2F%2Fblog.priceplunge.com%2Fhome%2F2012%2F8%2F25%2Fpark-zone-precision-parking-stop-light-systemaid-for-garage.html%3B600%3B600
it uses " Echolocation " if you will. It sends out clicking noises and I'm assuming it receives the noise back and determines the car's location.
What I wanna do -
I want to maybe put these two ( The Boe-Bot and Parking aid ) together so the boe-bot sends out the noise and finds it's way by the data it receives back. PLEASE help me figure this out I've been searching around for awhile now and not finding anything to help. I know this type deal works with IR or something but the ones I got in the kit didn't work so I'm trying this! Any help would be amazing

Yes but I was looking to make my own
Unless you pop it open and tell us exactly what is in there, it's impossible to tell you how to use it.

I appreciate your response. You actually understand what I mean by make my own. I don't want to destroy it so when I open it what do you want me to look for?
As mentioned before, the Parallax PING sensor would have been much easier to start with. Plus you have the knowledge of these forums, with the other purchase, not sure we can help.
BTW..welcome to the forums!
Jim
When you say "Make My Own", what do you mean? It looks like the original product that you linked to, (well not the actual product, just a generic collection), is already made.
It won't be a problem cutting the wires as they aren't connected inside the light meter thing. They are attached by a phone plug type thing but not the exact same, I checked.
Quick edit:
I will try to open it up soon and get the part number or some sort of pic so you can see
That still does not help as there is no data sheet to provide the input and output requirements. If you could supply those, then we may be able to supply some coding for a BS2.
