Publison - where'd you go? Has anyone heard from jim recently? I haven't seen a post since 9/19. I sent him 2 BS2px chips and some pm's, no response - anyone know if he's ok?

OMG, Publison (AKA Mr Birthday), where are you? Shows how sick (ill!) I've been that I failed to notice. Hope all's well.

Perhaps he's trapped in the transporter pattern buffer?

Hey anybody - I remember his first name, but I can't remember his last name - If anyone knows it, PM it to me and I'll look him up in our dbase.

IIRC, November 16 birthday, right after mine. Maybe he's a typical fiesty/moody Scorpio like I am and is laying low to see who notices. I've done that before! I'll be the early bird to wish him a Happy Birthday, and hope he checks in soon!

Matt G., you shipped the last of the Quadrovers to him in July. Do you have any of that paperwork sitting around? A PM from him with shipping info?

I'd also like to know if Jim is okay. According to his profile his last activity around here was in September.

    Matt G - I PM'd you Jim's info - any luck?

I searched Jim out a little on the net and found he had a hovercraft company! I called that number and got a woman who said Jim was not there and that I had a wrong number...

    Anyone hear from him yet?

I did a Google search on "Jim Publison obituaries" and only got hits to Parallax forum posts. :D

"The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated"

I didn't know my absence would create a stir.

I took a sabbatical after a certain reply by a moderator. I guess my pride was hurt, but it healed.

Happy Birthday to all those that I missed, (I think doggiedoc was one).

We're just glad you're not dead in some ravine somewhere or in the trunk of an old Cadillac. :D

I suppose it would...I know some people who are in denial, so instead of having an nth birthday they have an nth anniversary of their 30th birthday. Which is kind of like setting your clock ahead 15 minutes to make sure you're not late. :innocent:
  • I have been wondering whatever happened to Publison. In searching the forums, I came up with this thread. But in this case, the system says he hasn't been active since January of 2023, that's 14 months. Does anyone know if he's okay?
