Dual / double midi out - schematic question

I am working on a tap tempo device that I want to have multiple midi outs. I could send duplicate signals on different pins, but I'd rather daisy chain them. Does anyone see any problems with the attached schematic? I don't know know enough about hardware to tell myself.

Thanks!

I would recommend using 1 buffer per port. This is possibly overkill but will keep you in MIDI spec.

+1. The chip may not be able to drive 2 ports properly.

    http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn7407.pdf

    *open collector output
    *IOH 250uA
    *IOL 40mA

I'd go with a buffer per port as it would provide better isolation between ports should something go goofy.

Great, thanks for everyone's help! Seems like there is consensus here.
