Relatively thin, multi wire power cable available?

Hello.

For a certain project, I need a relatively thin (<=1/4') power cable, which will have 4 insulated wires. The voltages applied will be: 230VAC and 350VDC. Current won't exceed 0.5A in each circuit.

Any ideas? I have searched a lot, and there are a lot of multi-wire cables available, but none of them lists high voltage compatibility.

Found EU/China version, it is called RVV4-0.5 cable, but have no idea how it's called in U.S.

the < 1/4 inch spec won't be very easy.

insulation thickness is going to be dependent on the maximum voltage
these are slightly larger but UL/CSA rated for 600V (you're 50V over using one with a 300V rating):

Teflon/Kapton insulated wires can be much thinner than generic PVC ones. The problem is, I haven't found multi-wire ones...

By the way, I have a roll of military surplus 22AWG silver clad teflon wire. What if I buy teflon or silicon tubing, and run 4 wires of that wire thru it?

and by my understanding, 300V RMS=300*1.41=423V DC ?

I don't think that converting RMS to DC is valid for insulation ratings. Check out Belden 8424, it's got a 600V RMS rating, flexible, thin and easy to find. There's some relatively cheap on ebay now.

if there is no insulation rating on that surplus wire, there is no way of knowing.

I have insulation resistance tester, which can test at 1000v dc. I've tested that wire and insulation resistance at 1000 vdc is greater than 10 gigaohms.

I've checked for belden 8424, all places sell it in 100ft rolls, but i only need 15ft.

Visited local store that sells various cables. Found quite interesting cable, made by ELAN, Italian company. It contains 4x22AWG wires, additional cloth-like thread inside, and PVC jacket outside. Is rated to 250VAC/400VDC. Price was around $0.35/yard, when purchased in 100 yard rolls. I've tested it with my insulation tester and it holds 1000VDC nicely.
