Simple ColorPal BS2 Code

Hello,
I have been through all the ColorPal documentation and have run all the programs given in the documentation successfully.
My question is, where can I find a simple example (BS2 code) on how to use this device on a robot ? For instance, I want my Boe-bot to move forward and stop when the colorpal sees the color red. I mean, come on, is that too much to ask ? I understand, people should understand the workings of the device/sensor and experiment & try & write code for themselves, but is it too much to ask to give a simple example like I stated above to get one started ?
