Problem with Boe-Bot "go to nearest object" program with Ping

Hi there, we're trying to get the "go to nearest object" code to work for the servo-powered Ping. The servo turns, the Ping scans and the Boe-Bot moves but, when the Boe-Bot senses the object and turns to go toward it, it "stutter steps" twice and then stops.

The batteries are fully charged. Any idea why this isn't working? I've attached a brief video to show the problem and the code I'm using. I'd appreciate any help - thanks in advance!

How many batteries are you using? Even though your batteries are charged, you are running 3 servos and a Ping plus the Prop. Each Servo will pull almost 6 volts when running so that may be the issue. Do you have a wall wart power supply just to test it out? Parallax sells an "add on" battery pack so you can use 5 AA batteries.
