So I bought some of these >> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LHFU62 on Amazon and I was getting mixed feelings from some of the reviews. What say you?
Also, please be sure to check out my post on something relating to these batteries. Please critique.

Did no one catch the little joke in the image? No? :thumb:

What's you assessment of them then? Worth $8 or not? Will it blow up based on your experience or is it fairly reliable?

There was some discussion about cheap Li-Ion cells here.

IMO, this isn't the best use of the poll feature. I think a thread like "Cheap Li-Ion Batteries, Suggestions?" would have been more productive.

Unless someone has actually purchased the batteries in question, we'd all just be guessing if the batteries you linked to were good or bad (or more likely somewhere in between (though that's not a poll option)).

And no, I didn't catch the joke in the image, even after being told there is one.

I've never used those batteries, so I can't contribute to the poll. However, given that they use lithium chemistry and given that the charger is so cheap, I would not charge them indoors -- unless you have a large fireplace with a screen.

These are fake, real capacity is around 800-900mAh.
