The Seattle Robotics Society held our yearly Robothon on Sept. 21st and we would like to thank Parallax for their sponsorship this year. You have supported us for quite awhile and are an important part of our event. Not only are the winners of your kits very happy with their prize a lot of our competitors are using your products. In fact several of last years winners entered competition this year with their winnings from last year! There will be an article in next months Robot magazine of Robothon 2013. Also visit facebook.com/Robothon for pictures and info. Again, Parallax, Thank You!

I asked the contestant about it. She said that was how she programmed it, with the keypad and LCD. I don't know what all was in the box so I am not sure how she programmed it. But it did a good job of line following!

My toddler is not complete as I was so busy right before Robothon being on the committee that organizes it. I had all my Minds-I robots on display since I represented them for Robothon. So many toys, so little time. Back to work on my toddler and a complete redo of my Robo-magellan. Check out the Marshmallow Cannon on the far left.

One of the really fun and rewarding parts of the day was a group of about 20 Civil Air Patrol Cadets all of them Bristol sharp in their uniforms that stayed at my table for a long time asking lot's of questions! Their commander tried to keep them together and moving but they would sneak back in two's and three's to talk more. I must have reminded them of their Nana.
