Scribbler 2 Robot Motors won't start running

Hello,
When I run movement commands on the Scribbler 2 robot, the wheels won't move. However, they do if I rotate them / give them an initial "push" - then they continue to keep moving until the function ends. Sometimes nothing happens when I run the move functions, other times it just makes a somewhat quiet static buzzing sound.
It worked fine yesterday, but not today.
Some stuff that were done between yesterday and today:
- made the robot stop and go a lot of times, using loops and random variables
- forcibly turned the wheel when it was moving, including the opposite direction of its movement
I am thinking of resetting it to default factory settings, but I only have Bluetooth and no programming cable - so is it still possible to somehow use Propeller on the GUI to restore it to default settings? It shows up as no connection due to there being no programming cable - I made it move through Bluetooth / using python/myro / COM ports.
Thank you!

Batteries were recharged, and same issue occurred.
