The BOE was working when got then suddenly I wasn't able to program it. Any answers why this is?

Sorry to be flippant but, No answers at all with out a lot more information.
If you're using a battery, are you sure it's not dead?
I bet your battery died.
Okay, believe it or not, now we're making progress. You need to tell us more about how it's not running programs. Are you getting error messages? for example, is anything lighting up, or does the entire board appear to be dead?
Is your 3-position power switch set to 0 instead of 1 or 2?
What you wrote is a little confusing to me. If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the LED light is on, so your Propeller BOE indeed has power. Your computer shows that the SPIN program loads properly. You have tried the same SPIN program on a different Propeller BOE but you are getting the same problems. And one of those problems is that a light that is supposed to indicate that the BOE is sending data back to your computer is not blinking as it should. And I'm presuming you are not getting any messages back on your computer such as "Hello World."
Do I understand you correctly so far?
First, I am assuming you have a Propeller BOE and not a Basic Stamp BOE. The SPIN language will not work on a Basic Stamp.
You might want to post your code. You can post code by placing it inside of "code tags."
Place your code between . Code tags will preserve the indentation of the SPIN language, which is important.
OK. It programs correctly but there is no "Hello World" coming back. That could be because the XTAL oscillator is not working.
Can you download a program that lights a LED? That should work no matter what rate the clock is running at.
Are both boards a Propeller BOE? or by "different board" do you mean it is a Propeller board but something not a BOE?
I will attempt to translate this:
One of my units is a Propeller Quickstart but the other unit is a Propeller BOE.
The Propeller BOE will not run ANYTHING. I tried to run the LED blinking program on the Propeller BOE and it is not working, although it used to work.
Brandan, is this what you are trying to say?
I think there is a way to run the Propeller without an external crystal. I think it's called RCFAST, but I'm saying this off the top of my head. I've never used it before and I don't have my junk in front of me to try it out. Does anybody here know how to get a SPIN program into the Propeller without an external crystal and allow brandan to test out the bad crystal theory?
Hey, W9GFO, stop feeding your face with popcorn and provide some suggestions here.
As far as I remember if you remove any clock setting statements it will default to RCSLOW or whatever. Anyway "no XTAL mode". Then you should be able to program it and have it light a LED. Serial comms will not work.
Now is a good time for brandan to check what I am saying in the manual.
If that does not work things seem pretty hopeless.
If that does work it's time to check the XTAL connections.
Thanks Heater.
Okay, brandan, so I think what this means is that you need to read the manual about how to use RCSLOW and then program the Propeller BOE to simply blink an LED. Apparently, the "Hello World" serial terminal display will not work with RCSLOW, so you are reduced to running a test only with the LED.
What board are you using? The BOE does not run the same code as a Quickstart. Are you using a BOE, the Propeller BOE or Propeller Activity Board? Please be specific.
What code are you running? You can post the code here so that we can take a look at it. Did you make any changes to the code when trying on a different board?
Do you have anything hooked up to the board? Sensors, LEDs, servos etc...?
Pictures of your board would help immensely.
If you are not able to take some time helping us to understand your situation then I would suggest phoning Parallax Monday morning, (888) 997-8267 and they will take care of you.
