Eddie: where to start ?

Hello,

I bought eddie robot, and I want to know ... where to begin.

The kit is assembled now, but I didn't know exactly where to connect the sensors for example. Is there any CD or documentation about eddie platform for electrical connexions ?
Do I have to connect my laptop to USB ?

Is there any simple program to test the robot at low level (to find problems) ?
