Head-scratching moment for the day.

Can you guess the difference between the items packed in the bag on the left side and the items packed in one on the right?

I will give you a hint: not much...

The items on the left appear to be 100ohms. The items on the right appear to be 50ohms. So, the difference would be 50ohms (+/-10% tolerance).

I've given up trying to make sense of the way electronic parts are shipped.

I think you're showing use an example of nearly identical components shipped in very different packaging?

Ding Ding, we have a winner !!!

    Exactly, winner number 2 :)

Why in the world did the three 50 ohm trimmers need 3 layers of bubble wrap (and a larger bag) while the two 100 ohm trimmers were fine in a plain bag?

    I have no idea.

I really like Mouser, but sometimes their packaging choices baffle me. I realize they're just trying to do the job right, but I often wish they had a shipping option of "Just stuff it in an envelope and mail it".
