prop2 board layout

I've been trying to find information on a basic circuit board lay-out for Prop2 chips. The only thing I've been able to locate is the Prop2 Module layout. ( which is much appreciated!)
I've started on a board that uses the schematic of the Prop2 Module as a starting point, but I'm not even sure how the chip itself will be programmed! I see that RESn and TX and RX signals are brought to the connector along with the available ports, so I assume ( and we all know where that gets me ) that these will be used for programming.
Can anyone point me to anything thing that shows the recommended basic layout for the predefined port pins? Do I need to have a USB adapter on board similar to the prop1? WIll the current programmer be used for programming the P2?
The documentation I can find is great for software, but understandably sparse for hardware since none of us have actually HELD one in our hands.... but it's time. Thank goodness!
