No point in trying to boost here. We all know that Humanoido will win. He probably stands for like 40% of Parallax total annual sale.
(Thanks Humanoido for making Parallax such a rich and prosperous company. And in the long run making the P2 a reality)
Your PC keeps score on all new FT232RL's connected to a USB port. Although I could swear I noticed it click back to 1 after 256 but I may be mistaken. So for every new FT232 number, there is a new Prop next to it. Every new FT232 bumps the port number up. Redeploying doesn't count.
Not quite 100, but close. 20 more built devices waiting to be sold and deployed (they will be). Right now one customer is weighing how they will upgrade their enterprise data collection system, and once they finish in the likely event they continue to use our solution it will be 4 digits within a few years.
Mmmmm.... >35, all working fine some of them 24/24 time base most of them in broadcast live television systems...
Except one burn out on a spinneret, due to a wrong power adaptor
Around 200 so far but like localroger I have a client that could take thousand or so with a new product I have.
I'm currently redesigning the board layout to almost all smd to meet their exact requirements.
The biggest majority of the stuff that I do is security system based, access control primarily and up to now have been for our own installations.
I could make my products just as easily with PIC or similar but I just love working with Propeller and the product isn't price sensitive.
Bear in mind I am not an electronics engineer by trade, I just do this stuff for fun mainly and a lot most of what I have learned is down to the members of this great forum. :thumb:
I doubt I would have even attempted most of my projects without it.
Maybe this is the geek equivalent of driving a REALLY BIG pickup truck....for no real reason.
I don't think so. Folks only care about your pickup truck if they think you might help them move (unless there's an obsession for pickup trucks).
Each number of props is just a number, but the whole data set, all the total props used and how they were accumulated, IS interesting. If one finds looking at data interesting.
"Score" is an unfortunate choice, it implies a competition. In this case, the winner(s) would be those that use the correct number for their needs, which must be everyone.

My numbers vary wildly based on that definition!

Does your score increase if folks are running your software?
Jeff
I'd count how many total props you shipped. But how many did you pre load?
I am not declaring how many, but the ".5" is for my P8X16A chip

That is funny. Reminds of a long time ago some guys wanted to know if they could only pay for 8 tracks since they didn't need 24.
