No email notification for new comments

Has anyone experienced this? I'm not getting notified of new replies to a post I subscribed to.

    Hi RevC,

    I've checked your account settings and you are, indeed, setup to receive email notifications regarding post responses. Cannot see why you wouldn't be.

    I'm hoping that a Forum Owner can offer some insight.

    Are they not coming in at all or maybe just delayed? I know on larger forums like this one the outgoing notifications are often queued into smaller sets to reduce load on the mail server.

    Also, check your junk mail folder.

    Hi Chris - his setting is for "instant notification".

    I think the system setting overrides that though. I will check.

    When enabled, subscription emails generated by your site will be processed in batches to lessen the load on your server. Account activation, lost passwords and other vital emails are sent instantly regardless of this setting. If your site has low traffic, subscription emails may be delayed.

    If you have a large site, you may wish to enable locking. This prevents a rare situation where the same email is sent multiple times.
    This is what I was referring to, but oddly, is isn't on...so not sure what is happening. I will look further into it.

    I haven't received one notification for this thread, which I started: Equation for PULSOUT value for Certain Angle It's in the basic stamp forum.

    and just now I received a third message from Chris Savage, but not the other ones in between !odd!! I'm going to tripple check my spam folder, but I think I wouldn't be getting any messages if this was a spam folder issue.

    Hey tonyp, I don't even get it at that time. I have only received 4 out of all the replies I've gotten.

    I started a thread a few weeks ago about this. I will have to see if I can find it. Any how, it is like it's half way fixed. I get some but not all. Very odd. I always say it is best when everything does not work rather than a part works and a part does not. Makes it much easier to troubleshoot!!!!
