After attending the expo saturday im inspired to work on my propeller controlled robot again. The activity board looks like it would get my bot moving pretty easily. But does anybody know why it's on hold? The PropBOE would work, but it has more features and cost than i need.

A lesser man would take that opportunities to laugh off any recent coding issues.....sadly, that would mean I've been working on flawed hardware from many sources since 1974!!
I betcha' there are 352 boards in China right now with Ken.
Oh, no, buddy! You can't stop myths, rumors and speculations this easily!!
Bummer, no Jedi emoticon...
LOL
At least you didn't try the old "Look, over there! It's a Propeller2!!"
That would just be cruel. :blank:
Where is it? I dont see it anywhere!

Good one Jon!
Congrats on 4,000 posts! And every one of them are worth two..

If you were just curious about the hold status....well, then as we heard from "official source" {wink, wink, nudge, nudge}...there's nothing to see here, so just move along.........
I agree it's good to get them from PropellerPowered. I checked Adafruit because the PP site shows 2 to 3 day availability which I assume means none in immediate inventory.
I wouldn't hurt to check though...

The only issue we have ever had with Activity Boards is that if they are not packed well, we've had the Xbee sockets break in transport.
We package them in several layers of bubblewrap, then ship them in a bubblewrap package. It seems to have solved the issue.
Don't forget we've got some I/O shields (keyboard/mouse, Wii, IR) for those Activity Boards/BOE Boards as well.
