I know there are a number of boards around, both from Parallax and folks here.
Is there any chance of getting a Sticky, with boards and their features for those of us who can't read every thread?

This would be great Andrew. Thanks.
I've listed some Propeller boards I use in post #8 and #9 of my index. There are a lot of different boards. I agree, it would be nice to have a list.
I gather such a list would be for boards currently on the market? Is there a better criteria for which boards should be listed other than being available for purchase?

And then there is this great open source collection. Source files are available for every board.

I am not saying that everyone that has a Propeller included on their board has to be announced to the world, some wouldn't want to. But the boards that are for open use and end-user programming and configuration are getting a bit harder to locate on the search engines.
I have the following released boards with Prop's on them:
Morpheus
Propteus
PropCade
RoboProp
CPUModule
I also have a lot of prototyping / misc modules for the above, and more coming as soon as I build pages and document them.
There are some unreleased boards as well.
Ideally, I was hoping there was a way to list currently available boards, list the basic features, and provide a URL to whomever had them. Maybe one of the Mods could make it a sticky, and update/delete on a regular basis whenever someone adds a new one or discontinues one.
For all of the work a lot of folks here seem to do in helping Parallax in many different ways, this would be a nice way for Parallax to allow these folks to maybe at least cover their expenses, and continue expanding the options available for new folks.
Don't think it would dampen their official stores sales much if at all.

Let me know if I am missing any boards or if you think other items should be on the parameter list.

......spilled over into two pages on the PDF. Of course that's only because the links are fully shown. Up to 72 Propeller Boards, 41 have been confirmed as active.
One other product which was made up simply for demonstrating other technology is the Pixie which is a long headshell that plugs directly into the back of a VGA monitor and allows a USB/PS2 or serial keypad to plug into it too. Communications is via two RS485 ports configured so that it is also RS422 and RS232 compatible so that cheap VGA monitors can be strung off twisted pair (I use 4-core phone cable) and the Pixie is also powered from this line. There's an XBee socket on it as an option. I used this for part of a small job for an old client the other day. A updated design uses the shorter headshell and a simpler arrangement. PocketTerm also runs on it nicely.
The trouble with the hobby market IMO is that they like all the features but still want all the 32 Prop I/O!!! :frown:
Peter, I really like your Puppy boards and since there are posts with adequate details that I came across a few times, I added them to the list. The list is in no way meant to be an "open source enforcer", LOL. The list is merely a summary of Propeller based boards that are made (whether readily sold or not), have details published so they could be made, or boards that were made but now discontinued.

HIVE is extremely active, you just need google translate or read German.

WBA, could you move the list and attachment from post 11 to post #3 ?
Or send it to skylight so it could be post #1
Tymkrs, Absolutely, thanks for the addition. I also caught the EZProp on Tindie which I also already knew about but had forgot.
prof_braino, As soon as I "finalize" this list (in the next few days, I will call it complete enough), I will be starting a new thread specifically as a "Propeller List and Matrix" thread and the latest version will always be on the first post. Preferably, the list will be part of the post itself, and the full matrix would be the attachment, but I have to figure out how to cleanly copy/paste from Excel into a forum thread. Once I start that thread, I will ask for a moderator vote to have it be made into a sticky thread as well.
+1 Sticky from this moderator. I'm sure Parallax has to make the final decision.
I would attach an Excel spreadsheet as well as an OpenOffice Spreadsheet.
The original DS00 laser range finder has a prop chip. The driver was in C, but needed a separate paid compiler. These have been available on and off. When propgcc is officially released, this unit may resurface.
Did you get the Sparkfun Propeller breakout board?
prof_braino, thanks, I found some info on the DS00 and added it to the list
shimniok, Thanks, I had forgot about Sparkfun's board and when I searched their site for "propeller", the CMU-CAM-4 came up as well.
I'll update the PDF in a few minutes.
