Will take it for a test drive later.

    Good work Steve and crew!

We switched to this version (plus the updated Learn folder zip) for the "First C" podcasts starting with the one that will release tomorrow.

Everything seemed to work just fine for us, thanks.

SimpleIDE v0.9.40 (The propside branch) builds and runs fine here on 64 bit Debian Wheezy. Looking good.

    Good to hear.

The actual branch name is "spinside" though for new build adventurers. propside is the googlecode name.

User Guide very good to read ...

one mistake in Simple IDE Terminal / Options / Function

wrong labeling on character 13 and character 10 (switched)

    character 13 is CR
character 10 is LF / New Line

    [Edit]

It is just wrong in the PDF. (old Image)

The actual installed Version does it correct.

Installed without problem on Windows Ate (my computer) Test-Machine...

    [/Edit]

    Enjoy!

    Mike

Oops, yes, it's the "spinside" branch of the "propside" repo. I'm tired.

There is one notable feature enhancement not mentioned in the user guide.
Compiling CMM/LMM programs will now create a Propeller .binary that can be loaded by others.

SimpleIDE for Linux is posted here.

It is a 32bit package that should run on Debian, Fedora, Mint, and Ubuntu.
Other variations will be posted later.

@msrobots, thanks for the note. Dave Hein noticed the LF/CR issue a few weeks ago and mentioned it.

Not sure if it is the right place to post it... but for sure is the most up to date discussion, so I guess it would work.
I apologize for being so late, but please find attached a first review of the Italian translation.
Some of the key words have not been translated because I have not been able to find a decent equivalent.
I left some of the terms with accelerators in English, with IT translation on the side. It could be tweaked, but I have not experience with that, so I preferred to stay conservative.

Moreover I have not been able to test it on SimpleIDE, and I'm sure a review is mandatory..

    Thanks Massimo.

You can test this if you create a .qm file using QtLinguist, rename it as simpleide_it.qm, and put it into the Program Files\SimpleIDE\translations folder.

    Ok,
I created the .qm file, but I cannot make SimpleIDE load the language file (neither mine neither the ones already in the SimpleIDE installer).
    What am I doing wrong?

I have tested SimpleIDE with Windows7, Linux Mint Mate, and Mac Mountain Lion, and have no issues to report
