If you can wait for delivery, then you can get these much cheaper here.

I have used them for a variety of Halloween projects ... I appreciate the wide input voltage range and the adjustability.

Lens - a bit unique looking, but it seems to be effective for horizontal and vertical orientation.
Range - about 20 feet straight ahead.
Detection angle - more than 100 degrees in my experience.
Adjustments - the range is actually quite good in terms of time and sensitivity
Robustness - my use is seasonal, but takes some physical abuse. In this case, I have sometimes had to use a drop of RTV to ensure that the lens does not pop off.

Overall - recommended. Can anyone beat $1.09/each?

WOW. Fantastic prices and variety at that site, phatallica! Sure looks like a great resource, and cheaper than Ebay. Maybe the savings is in their slow shipping (the proverbial slow boat from China). Have you bought from them, and how do you pay? I'd be hesitant to give my credit card number to a "too good to be true" seller in China unless I got some glowing recommendations first.

It looks like the same module.

Aliexpress is not for the feint of heart. I have make perhaps 20 purchases over the past 2 years. Only 1 order was dubious ... 556 timer chips that were probably counterfeit - I forget the details, but they did not meet all datasheet specifications. I ended up resorting to Thailand instead for these.

Some other deals inspired by some of my forum reading:
    Mount your PING
Store and organize your passive SMT components
    Digital Relay control

    Enjoy!
