You do realize this happens with every sun spot cycle, every 11 years?

Thanks for the info, Heater. For a moment there I thought it was 'The End' - again

LOL. That seems to happen about every 11 years too. Just seems natural now ... wuf, wuf, wuf.

Lest we forget, the good old planet Earth could be due for a magnetic field flip sometime in the next few thousand years. That should get the doom merchants yapping.

I suspect the human race will not survive until the next flip of the Earths magnetic field. Or at least any surviving humans will not be in any condition to know about it.

Of course it is already oscillating. That's how we have a rough idea about when it will happen next.

    Good grief!

Fox News just had someone from Discover Magazine on saying that this happens about every 22 years while the background image was saying every 11 years.

He also stated that we could have massive and complete blackouts that could last for a year or more when all the electric transformers blow up. The host then asked him,

"Do you really think that will happen?" to which Mr. Discover Magazine answered, "Statistically, no. But it could happen!"

Certainly makes me happy I stopped reading that magazine a long time ago. Where do they get these guys?

If that happens bees will start flying backwards. Babies will be born old, then age by getting younger. McDonald's will finally get my breakfast order right.

    It *COULD* happen!

It's a very sad life if you have to get your breakfast in McDonalds. I thought that mush was for drunk people on their way home from the pub.
