... which seems to be the whole point of "functional encryption,", viz:

Apparently, they are able to take a program and completely obfuscate it in such a way that it produces the same results as before but in a manner that frustrates any attempts to reverse engineer the original algorithm. It'll be interesting to see how they do it. Convert it to Forth, maybe? :)

    Oh, heck, that's easy. All they need is a program that can emulate the way I write code.

    Two weeks later nobody can ever figure out what I've done. Especially me.

    I'm a tad skeptical to say the least. If it is based in any sort of encryption I understand then it likely has a reverse function that undoes the permutations done by the first software. Usually that piece of software is the Achilles heel of such systems. Once it is broken, it is broken for everyone which is why the media companies flipped out over libdvdcss
