Recommendations please: Propeller compatible touch screens

Just looking for some recommendations from those of you who may have experience with a few different touch screen displays that work well with the Propeller. There are a huge number of them, from units that appear to need a significant amount of support circuitry, to "intelligent" displays that seem to only need a simple serial connection.
My applications will require a small display - 4 or 5", and a larger display - 10 to 12", full color (at least 256 colors anyway). I will be displaying only simple shapes, buttons, text and data - think artificial horizon with altitude, airspeed, etc., on the display, with some hot spots to switch between a few different screens/functions.
Just trying to save myself from spending a lot of money on something that sounds great, but is impracticable in Propeller-world.
Also - The propeller can't process external video, but can it be used in a video overlay fashion, or would I need something like the BOB-4?
Thanks!

I believe Rayman has some newer screens with an added processor which shouldn't require a second Prop but I haven't used these myself.
I have some links to displays in post #7 of my index (several of the links are to Rayman's touchscreens).
A Prop Backpack will do video overlay.
I use discarded android phones, they do a LOT, and the price is ok, just takes a lot of looking.
Yes, but both the video source and video display need to be NTSC. I'm not aware of any NTSC compatible touchscreens to use with the Propeller.
