Email with spinnernet spinserver

Hello! I am fairly new to the spin world, however I have had a propeller since they came out years ago just never got the hang of Spin.
That aside I am taking on a project wherein I need to be able to send a report through a Gmail or other web service via POP3 or IMAP.
Has anyone done this? the spinnernet server has little documentation with it. Nore it seems much discussion about it, or objects in the exchange...
I know the old PINK had email built in or something to that effect, but it is no longer available and I am trying to stick to the current device.
Any ideas or such on where to even start??
Thanks much for your time and have a great day!
PS. Is Prop C the replacement for spin or just a new name or what?

Here an example for spin (you need to adjust this): http://code.google.com/p/propeller-w5200-driver/source/browse/trunk/+propeller-w5200-driver/?r=19
However most webmail services today require SSL to connect to their SMTP server, not sure if the spinneret allows that.

...It's been awhile since I had my head around it, but it should have enough to get you started. I never did get MD5 in place that would allow TLS authentication but with some email providers that isn't a problem.
This should get me on the right track.
