Lego NXT and Parallax..

Just wondering if anyone out there has had any sucess in interfacing LEGO NXT robotics gear to {something} Parallax?

NXT hardware with a propeller quick-start board?

Servo units in NXT compatible bricks?

You get the idea...

It's been done among Arduino robotics programmers for years now. Lego published the pin-outs for their brick and people have built control libraries for them. The motors for example are simple DC motors with built-in quadrature encoders. Any Propeller program for any of DC motor will work with them. However, there's one catch with the quadrature encoder. The Schmidt trigger and circuit to clean up the signals is on the brick motherboard, so you'll need a circuit like this to use them reliably.
