So I checked the status of my Wild Thumper this morning. On the truck and out for delivery. I have my tools all ready to go , batteries are charged and code is almost done. A couple weeks ago I ordered 7 boxes of RG-59 cable. I was not even expecting the delivery and they showed up at 11:00 AM. The next day, same thing when my cameras arrived. Now today it is 4:30 PM and still no UPS. It is driving me crazy just waiting. Fortunately, the other smaller items I ordered over the weekend from Parallax were in the mail box so I have something to do while waiting. I am getting ready to hook up the new High Speed Servos to see what the fuss was all about! I will post after I run them.

I think we all go through shipping anxieties but don't blame Parallax.

Did you check the bushes in front of your house? :)

I've never had a problem with UPS delivery, but FedEx ground is another matter. If the driver is running late, he might just record "attempted delivery, no one home to sign" without stopping, then wait until the next day. This has happened to me more than once when I've been home all day.

No, I was not really blaming anyone. I just thought it a bit ironic that when I am not really waiting for something it arrives in the morning but when I am anxiously awaiting something it never gets here until late in the day. Wild Thumper arrived about 30 minutes ago. Have all the parts out for inventory right now. I am going to eat and then get started so I do not have to stop in the middle of it!!!!

The difference between UPS and FedEx at my place: "Ding dong" or "THUD!", respectively.

I have heard FedEx come to the door, pause a few moments then leave. Then I went to pick up the package and find a delivery notice on the door.

Another time I found a USPS delivery notice in the mail when I went to get it just moments after I watched the mailman drive away. I hopped in the car and went after him. When he saw me giving chase he turned around. His explanation was that he was just turning around to deliver it.

I guess you all know about the coming merger between FedEx and UPS?

The new company name will be FedUP...

    Enjoy!
