Another Great Garage Sale day.

So, As I was hitting my weekly Garage Sales I came across this Solar Powered Attic Fan. I thought they were going to want about $100.00 for it. I asked how much and was told $15.00. I offered the guy $10.00 and he took it so I figured it probably did not work. I got home, plugged the wires to the fan and put it in the sun. As soon as the sun hit the solar panel the fan started spinning!!!! 10 Watts is not much, but I do have an attic and it is pretty hot here in the Pacific NW. I just could not believe the thing actually worked. My wife was wondering what I was going to do with it until she seen how much it cost new!!!!

I love Garage Sales...

Me too! It's what the wife and I spend if not every weekend, at least every other weekend doing in the summer. Last year I picked up an almost new Erector set that sells for over $150.00 on EBay for $5.00. I have had it put away but I just ordered a Wild Thumper which has the same hole alignments so I will have plenty of things to do with it. All I really wanted the fan/solar unit for was the solar panel. The fan is just an add on. Now we can go to the beach and will have a fan to keep us cool!!!!
