Probably all the above. If you're the lucky student who builds a supercomputer with the biggest horsepower, why not show it off! And every time the power is increased, it helps others to make the next big one. It could lead to a leap of technology. Maybe some kid could harness the Q-bits and make the next affordable desktop paradigm in computing.
