Duplicate file locator / linker?

Anyone know of a good Duplicate file locator? ... and instead of removing the duplicates, a single master file is kept and the remaining 'duplicates' are linked to the master?

Thanks, this is for backup purposes, to conserve space on a burned DVD

There is one that might do this, called Clone Spy... for Windows.

I don't know that the UDF filesystem supports links like that. You could use TAR once you de-dupe the source data.

Anyway, the tool I like is called fslint-gui for Linux. The package is called fslint.

I have used Duplicate Cleaner for quite a while. Really helps keep things clean when you work on projects on separate PCs like I do but can't run sync on one.
