DS18S20 Like temperature sensor, but with higher measuring range?

DS18S20 has -55C to +125C range. I don't care for lower range, it may be 0C, but I need higher range to be higher, up to 150C. Does such sensors exist? (I do know about K type probe and so on, I need a ready, digital solution).

-55C to +125C is a standard (military) temperature range for semiconductor devices. Anything over that and you have to use special construction techniques and materials to prevent deterioration from various effects at the higher temperatures. Look at this article on issues around devices made for use up to about 200C. Temperature measurement devices exist for the 125C to 200C range, but they're expensive specialized devices, made for a niche market.

A lot of semiconductor devices permit die temperature to reach 155C or 175C, see no problem there...

For last restor, I'd agree on 135C one :)

Several members of the LM7x family go up to +150, with 2-wire or SPI digital interface, soic8 package.

Same for Maxim, here, but I don't see any that go that high with the one-wire interface.

well, SPI is also ok, thank you!
