BS2p40 OEM schematic

The 24WC128J EEPROM given on this schematic has since been discontinued by the vendor. Does anyone know of a replacement EEPROM that works here?

Also, does anyone have an actual part number (DigiKey, Mouser, ...) for the Dual NPN and the Single PNP Transistor Packs shown in the schematic?

My BS2p40 has a 24FC128 EEPROM:

I am unable to read the lettering on the xistor packs.

This may help. I did not look for the single PNP pack but it should be on the web site. I Googled " Dual NPN Transistor resistor array " and the ONSEMI site was the first hit.

thanks to both of your feedbacks! Parallax support says that nothing has changed on this schematic. So I assume that as long as I replace 24WC128J with 24FC128 but otherwise leave everything else exactly as is, then I should be fine... I'll give it a shot.

I have an alternate schematic that I used for an OEM type board that uses a MAX232 instead of the transistors:

I still have some of my SX48 OEM boards and you can use those to mount one of the Parallax OEM stamps based on the SX48 processor (like the BS2p40) on the board to make a stamp module. It uses the DIP version of the EEPROM.
