On a business trip to HK & China. Threw a Homework board and my $6 Ebay LED display (from HK) in my luggage for fun. Playing around since it's rainy outside, first results look promising. Just the Stamp wired directly to the display, no extra hardware. More to come as time & weather permit. BTW, this is the board I posted about at http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/147851-4-amp-8-Digit-LED-Displays Video made on a $10 Ebay HK Keychain spy camera. LED and spy cam are back on their home turf!!

Be sure to explore Nathan Road and Kowloon. Don't forget to take the Star Ferry to Central. The best English language book store is Swinerton's in Kowloon. Try to visit the Peak.. maybe at sunset or night, and try to visit the big Buddha on Lantau Island. Don't take the high speed train back to the airport when you depart, a regular airport bus will provide a much more interesting ride with a view of all the vastness of Hong Kong harbor on the way to the airport.

Great tips, Loopy. We stayed on Mody Road in Kowloon and we were all over Nathan Road. Koh-in-Nar was a great Indian restaurant on Nathan Road. Pity we were only in HK for one night, not much time to explore in this trip. But you are right, Star ferry and airport road transport are the way to go when in HK. We're in Shenzhen now for 2 weeks. The Chinese people are very friendly, incredibly hard working and eager to please.

And this all heat & humidity reminds me why I moved away from Florida. :)

BTW, no Youtube access here. Pity, I got my BASIC Stamp doing antigravity and time travel today. So you may never see the great videos I made...

Time travel, and anti-gravity. So you can find a way to spend a few more days in Hong Kong...

Humidity and heat are the same here in Kaohsiung.
