Pressing Enter does not move to a new line

Am I doing something wrong? I can only type long paragraphs because I don't know how to make the cursor go to a new line. Usually you just hit Enter but this editor works different.

    What browser and what OS are you using? This forum software doesn't use a normal text entry box, and your browser probably isn't handling the fake one this forum uses properly.

    This is a Windows 8 / IE 10 / vBulletin issue, I have it too.

    I have Windows 7 and IE 10. Xanadu has the same problem and he's using Windows 8.

    Sometimes, when I'm feeling adventurous I use IE10 :) It's not so bad I've posted a couple times with no enter key now. Improvise, adapt, and overcome run on paragraphs. Unfortunately, my other usual two browsers work perfectly!

    I just noticed that the Refresh button seems to be missing from IE10. Perhaps now is a good time to start using Chrome.

    I believe this is an IE 10 issue. The same thing happened on my main computer after IE 10 was installed. A couple weeks later I installed IE 10 on my laptop and it has been doing it ever since.
    I just noticed that the Refresh button seems to be missing from IE10.
    Either press F5 or the icon is the up/down pointing green arrows next to the address bar.

    Other people are reporting IE 10 problems especially since it comes with Windows 8. I learned that pressing ALT displays the menu if that helps others.
