This is a video put together by a commander of the International Space Station Chris Hadfield (with help from friends-see credits at end) and just posted on YouTube. The video is shot from inside the Space Station. The video of earth at night is amazing and the lyrics of the song he is singing are really close to his reality. I don't think any Propeller's are involved but I just had to share.

Fantastic! Very nice adaptation of the original song and a worthy cover. David Bowie should be proud, and not sue NASA for millions. :)

In fact, he should buy a billion-dollar ticket for a few days onboard the ISS and see if he can sing that well in zero-G.

He has certainly renewed interest in space travel. Hope it lasts.

Ground control to Major Tom ! I hope it inspires some of the younger crowd with the real thing like I was with the Apollo program when I was young.

P.S. I sure miss the email of response's to the thread feature of the forum.

Unfortunately, Bowie agreed to let this stay on YouTube for one year, and then it was to be removed.

I question the logic in this, in that it could have sold David B. more records?

I'm sure there will be pirated versions out there.
