Personally, I'd like to see some one build a good robotic prehensile tail. That item does not seem to be listed.

well, ability to hear, read and speak all major languages is coming to average drugstore in nearest 20 years.

That list doesn't really have much to do with what you could do with robotics or computers.

On the other hand there is the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_computers List of Fictional Computers which might provide more practical guidance.

That may be actually possible- about 10 years ago, a man lost his middle leg in car crash accident. Skilled surgeons used his middle finger from left hand to rebuild new weener. Now he has ability to hand-free scratch own balls

That list of fictional computers is quite interesting.. something that I'd never realize it existed.

The main thing is that we often start with what we can imagine and then create something with what we have to achieve that goal. So many items start out as fiction and years later become reality.

It seems Dick Tracy has had the most success.
