OBC Jeff , can you help me please

I've been trying to follow the bluetooth tutorial here:

I've managed to pair the module and have got as far as step 5, step 6 shows the screen with the allocated com ports, I don't get this screen showing the com ports, just that the module has connected successfully.

When I try to look at the properties of the linvor module I get an "access denied" so am unable to work out what port is allocated

Have you come across this and if so what was the work around?

A couple questions.. Can you see the ports being used in Device Manager (Control Panel?)

Also, that was the old Tutorial based on XP. If you are running the newer Windows 7 you'll want to look at this one.

Thanks Jeff I will hook the prop up to the module again at the weekend and check the device manager, I am using XP so that tutorial should be ok?

Yes, That tutorial should get you through it. I'll double check it tonight when I get off the road since it's been a while.
