5 Volt Regulator for QuickStart

I need 5v at about 200mA to run a 4D systems LCD from a 2S (7v) Lithium Ion battery. I have a QuickProto Lite mounted on a QuickStart, tried LM7805 but it takes up a lot of space and is running hot, any thoughts on a more elegant solution?

    I'd use something like this.

There is also a switching converter from Hobby King that is preset to a nominal +5V that works well with a 2s or 3s LiPO. But they cost more money than the above, and don't work any better or more efficiently.

The downside to both solutions is that they aren't any smaller than an LM7805, but they will run a lot cooler and will extend battery life.

Edit: Here's the link to the HK part: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__15212__HobbyKing_Micro_UBEC_3A_5v.html

Thanks for the reply User Name, I have a Traco Power module on the way, a little pricey but the form factor is right.

I've used the regulator in User Name's first link in my cheap bot. I think those cheap regulators work well. It's hard to beat the price.

As you can see in the cheap bot thread, I added some headers to the Vin and Vout connections to make them a little more user friendly.

These do work great and like others have said, you can't beat the price. I bought 5 at first and once they arrived I was so pleased with them that I ordered 10 more!!!

They look pretty slick! If I weren't saving up all my money to buy P2 modules, I'd buy one just to compare (w.r.t. regulation, noise, efficiency) with the two mentioned above. :)
