Good Job on OPC Parallax!

While I wasn't able to attend in person, I was tuned into the livefeed the entire day. A great job with the live feed, in spite of technical problems, we were able to see and hear the presentations well!

Parallax did an outstanding job hosting the 2013 OPC Event!

A few shout outs:

@Chris Savage: I'll admit I snickered when I saw the very tight speaking schedule. Keeping speakers on time is like herding cats, and you did marvelously! I'm challenged to tighten up the August expo speakers a bit. :)

@Jazzed & @Andy, between your presentations and what @blittled showed me during the downtime, I feel I know enough about SimpleIDE and C to be dangerous. Awesome.

It looks like Chip is on the home stretch with Prop2, and soon many others will be working feverishly on it.

Jeff

...a herculean effort by Parallax, to say the least.

And I was able to meet some faces to put with the Forum screen names!

Mr. Andy Lindsy's presentation was my turning point - I bought a Propeller BOE and am ready to begin the learning curve.

    No more clamoring for a BS3? :)

No, Sir Erco - those days are long and gone. Although I had to bite my tongue when Mr. Chip Gracy opened the floor to questions. I so wanted to ask about the BS3...I really did. But, sensibility prevailed.

    Jeff,

What you may not know is that a part of my original speech was omitted. When Jeff Martin and I discussed what we were going to cover we knew we had to make it clear that things would be tight and I opted to be the one to mention that. However, I was originally going to say afterward that, "To ensure that presenters comply with the 20 minute time period, each presenter going over would result in 1 additional month delay for the release of the Propeller Chip 2. :innocent:

I later realized my presentation probably wouldn't sound very funny, so I left that out. Jeff might have been able to pull it off, but I decided I could not.
