How to hardwire a laptop supply to the Eddie?

Anyone got a neat solution to the problem of powering/extending the laptop from the big Eddie batteries? My laptop has a charger rated at 15v 5A and I've got others with 19v. I guess the easiest solution would be to buy the most compact 12v car charger? But I'd rather hardwire a transformer circuit and screw it down near the controller board, rather than having a load of extra cables hanging around. The problem is that Kinect processing is processor intensive which drains the laptop battery too quickly. I have to charge the laptop several times before I need to recharge the Eddie. Is there any connector on the Eddie Control Board which could be tapped to optimize the solution, or is/should this always be separated?
