raspberry pi prop plate parts list?

hi,

I'm not much of a hardware guy but I thought the idea of using the raspberry pi and the propeller together sounded great so I bought a raspberry pi prop plate on batchpcb. https://batchpcb.com/pcbs/93839

I was wondering if anyone else has had success with this board and if they had a parts list for it? I've sent some messages to who I figured to be the appropriate but I haven't received any response.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Dave

Have I committed some sort of faux pas or is this a topic that no one has any knowledge of? I'm not trying to anoy anyone I was just hopeful to get some kind of response to this. I have a great project in mind for the combined raspberry pi and propeller but just need some help getting the hardware started.

    Thanks!

I don't think you committed any faux pas, I assume nobody has knowledge about the board except the original creator. You should be able to send a PM to nglordi and see if he can provide a BOM for the board, he is the creator. It looks like a nice board to play with, sadly, it looks like batchPCB is no longer selling boards and they have merged with OSH Park i some manner. Don't know if the boards will be for sale through them or not. Makes me wish I had bought one earlier!

    sssidney,

Not at all a faux pas. In fact there are a few of us here interested in the Pi - Propeller combinations. In fact the Pi makes a good development environment for the Propeller as all the new open source tools to program in Spin or C with the Simple IDE can be compiled to run on the Pi.

Sadly I know nothing about that particular board.

OK. Thanks for the info guys. If I don't get any info back maybe I can post a pic of the board and we can guess what the components are? Some are marked on the PCB.

I'm going to try and get in touch with nglordi too. I think there's a need for a few more of these boards in the world!!

The prop related components should be pretty standard, bypass caps, a crystal, etc.

One of the original "PropBerry" threads is here.
