Solderless Bullseye Electret Microphone

Sometimes the obvious isn't... I have a small quantitiy of Electret Microphones--specifically [h=1]TOM-1545S-C33-R[/h]I simply am unable to figure out how to attach this to a PCB board.
There must be a holder of some sort... Nice little device, but I can't fgure it out.
Anyone care to wade in?

According to the data sheet those are "solder pads" on the back so I would suspect they are meant for surface mounting on a PC board. You might be able to solder fine wires to the pads, or perhaps a small watch/backup battery holder would work.

why is it billed as a solderless, electret microphone then? There must be something else. But the datasheets are pretty slim pickins for information

Sunblock, they are solder less mics. You need to look into Bullseye connectors.

Digikey carries this component, I would give them a call. They probably have the connector for it as well

Looks like an element designed for a pressure contact housing. Many years ago, my last employer built a product that used this one. The picture shows the top and bottom pieces of the housing, but an element sandwiched between them.

tried searching for "electret mic pressure contact" but couldn't come up with anything showing how it's assembled............

The mic is a bullseye socket.

Just use the filter under termination select bullseye and your mic is 3rd on the list.

Just ignore the 'solderless' and attach two small wires.
Yes, they are intended to be 'solderless' replacements in existing microphone housings -- but seem to accept a bit of solder without any problem.
